Summer 2026 Managing International Trade - RBP020L067H
Autumn 2025
Academic Year: Academic Year 2025-2026
In today's globalised world, managers and businesses are faced with decisions that involve understanding the opportunities and the constraints that are being shaped by political and economic developments at home but also those happening abroad. Although the process of globalisation has greatly facilitated trade beyond national borders, doing business across borders is not the same as doing it at home. The purpose of this module is to enable you to critically evaluate the challenges of international trade for businesses and managers. Here we will be discussing concepts such as competitive advantage; currency fluctuations; trading regimes; protectionism.

This year we will be taking a blended approach to teaching, with lectures delivered online but seminars taking place in person whenever possible. However, the module pages here will provide all the necessary material that you will need to complete this module successfully.
